Alice in Wonderland, a 2005 Malayalam movie, is based on Hollywood romantic- comedy, Benny & Joon. Alby lives with her mentally challenged sister, Alice. He loves her a lot and would go to any extent for her happiness. When Victor enters their life, Alby feels threatened as relationship between Alby and Alice become strained. Alice is attracted by Victor's loving nature. Sophia, a research student from Singapore enters Alby's life. They become good friends and Ably is attracted to her. But Sophia doesn't reciprocate the same feelings and they come to terms with each other's need for companionship in their life.
